BE BASKETBALL are extremely excited to announce an official partnership agreement with Chevrolet Qatar and Jaidah Group.
During the full season of 2018-19, Chevrolet Qatar (Jaidah Group company) will be the Official Community Partner of BE BASKETBALL.
This is very exciting news for our developing basketball program!
Chevrolet Qatar are an extremely active organization in the community, supporting many local initiatives and children's activities such as cycle races, desert tours and now BE BASKETBALL!
Our (already) very supportive partner has helped with sponsoring our 2018-19 season club uniform for all our competitive squads.
Not only that, all our BE member's T-shirts will also carry the prominent global Chevy brand.
BUT wait - there's more! ... Chevrolet Qatar didn't stop there!
They have also agreed to donate a FREE Test Drive Vehicle every month this season to a BE BASKETBALL family on receipt of winning the #BE_CHEVY Player of the Month award.
And our members have already been awarded and drove away in brand new cars!
This special recognition award is something which helps our members to be noticed by our whole program as individuals who work on being better each and every session.
Now, with Chevrolet Qatar's support BE BASKETBALL can honor hard working athletes for their efforts and also give thanks to the supportive families of BE who's valued loyalty allow us to continually grow and excel each term.
So far its been a pleasure to reward and honor two of our programs most improved athletes, from completely different ability levels!
Above; Naomi Chen was recognized by Coach Julia for her extremely helpful attitude at every session. She is a team player, supporting her group wherever possible, and making tremendous improvements since joining us only this season!
Her and her family drove away last weekend in a brand new Chevrolet Silverado, all due to Naomi's hard work and inspirational attitude!
Jagoba Suso (above / bottom left) and his family moved to Qatar this year from Bilbao, Spain where he and his brother (Eneko) played regular competitive basketball.
Both have made a dramatic impact on BE BASKETBALL's program.
Jagoba immediately stepped in as a natural leader amongst the U18s team and helped secure several victories for the squad whilst also becoming a top scorer.
His determination to become better each day is something all coaches at BE BASKETBALL witnessed from day one, and when it came to honor an athlete at our program for the first ever #BE_CHEVY Player of the Month award, it was made easy by Jagoba's work ethic, leadership skills and overall great attitude.
BE BASKETBALL and Chevrolet Qatar will join forces for many community events throughout the year (including Qatar National Sports Day) and have already mapped out several Chevrolet Showroom Basketball Skills Clinics for the general public! Again - a huge THANK YOU to Chevrolet Qatar and the Jaidah Group team for their valued support and partnership work already this season.
This is just the BE-ginning of something truly special for everyone involved at BE BASKETBALL!
