Coach Eric recently underwent an important and overdue hip surgery in America.
It is now imperative for him to be in the most appropriate environment for his health, thus he must return to the States within Term 1 to rehabilitate and fully recover with his family.
Doctors report a full recovery will take one year as long as there is no set backs physically.
This will certainly be sad news for our members due to the kind of relationship that Coach E has with you all, but we must make it clear that this temporary situation is for Eric’s health to improve fully and for his family to BE TOGETHER at this important time.
We strongly believe that this will actually fast-track BE BASKETBALL’s overall strategic goals and company objectives locally within Qatar and worldwide with numerous opportunities.
We plan for Coach Eric to come and go throughout the year; to deliver skills clinics, assist in summer programs (new) and also help setup and establish BE BASKETBALL organized camps/school trips in America and other countries for our athletes.
This is all possible only once Eric is fully healthy and able - which is our main goal right now. The BE BASKETBALL business, training program and special community that we have all built will sustain itself due to the love and care each and everyone one of us has invested over the years.
We are indebted to you all for this and will always be extremely grateful.
Coach Eric will return home at the end of October 2018 (Term 1) to continue with his rehabilitation, and BE reunited with his family.
